22-year-old dies after shooting in Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- One person is dead after a shooting in Poughkeepsie Friday night, city police said. Gabrial Mosca, 22, of Hyde Park, was reportedly shot multiple times at the corner of Main and Garden Streets.
According to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 5:20 p.m. Friday night. Upon arrival, they found the victim, identified as Mosca, with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital for emergency treatment, but later died from his injuries, police said.
According to officers, Main Street was closed for several hours on Friday while crews conducted their investigation.
