Officer-involved shooting in Malta kills 1, injures 2

MALTA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- There was an officer-involved shooting at 2113 Route 9 in Malta at the Ellsworth Apartments on Thursday. New York State Police said this stemmed from a domestic incident.
State Police reported that the suspect involved in the shooting is dead and two troopers suffered minor injuries. There is no threat to the public.
The two injured troopers were treated at the scene and are expected to make a full recovery. This comes a day after an officer-involved shooting at the NYSP Saratoga Barracks in Malta.
