Abbeville man charged with attempted murder in connection with January shooting

ABBEVILLE, La. (KLFY) -- An Abbeville man was charged with attempted murder Wednesday in connection with a shooting in January, authorities said.
Police say O`Darrius Greene was charged with three counts of attempted first degree murder. According to police, Greene was already in the Vermilion Parish jail on charges of of simple burglary.
On Jan. 2, officers received a call of shots fired at Veterans Memorial and John Hardy Drive. They found a male with a gunshot wound to his head and a female with a gunshot wound to her left arm in a vehicle near the intersection of Alphonse Street and East Oak Street.
Greene is accused of shooting the male and female in the car, along with an unidentified third victim.
Bond details were not released.
