Lake View shooting near Belmont Harbor leaves 1 man dead, 1 in critical condition
A shooting in a parking lot near Belmont Harbor early Saturday left one man dead and a second in critical condition.
The men, both 22, were in a parking lot near Belmont Harbor in the 3500 block of North Belmont Harbor Drive about 12:40 a.m. when someone in a sport-utility vehicle shot at them, Chicago police said.
Adher Luna was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
The other man was shot in the chest and left arm. He was in critical condition at Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
No one is in custody.
