St. Patrick’s Day at Malahide Yacht Club – Supporting Howth Lifeboat
St. Patrick’s Day is always a special occasion around the Irish coast, and this year Malahide Yacht Club is inviting members, friends and visitors to celebrate the day in true maritime style while supporting an incredible cause.
On St. James’s Terrace, the club will host a relaxed and welcoming gathering from 12:30pm to 5:00pm, bringing together good company, great food, and a shared appreciation for those who keep our waters safe.
A Perfect Way to Celebrate the Day
Guests can enjoy a traditional Irish treat with:
- Hot Powers Whiskey
- Irish Coffee
- Smoked salmon plates
Whether you drop in for a quick drink after the parade or settle in for a longer afternoon by the water, it promises to be a warm and sociable way to mark the national day.
The event is kindly sponsored by Powers Irish Whiskey, helping to create a festive atmosphere while ensuring that as much support as possible goes to the chosen charity.
Supporting the Howth Lifeboat
All proceeds from the day will go in aid of the Howth Lifeboat, part of the RNLI network that protects lives at sea around the Irish coastline.
For anyone involved in boating, sailing or watersports in the Dublin Bay area, the work of the RNLI is deeply appreciated. Their volunteer crews respond day and night in challenging conditions to help those in danger on the water.
As the RNLI proudly states:
“RNLI Lifeboats is the charity that saves lives at sea.”
Events like this help ensure that the lifeboat crews have the resources they need to continue their lifesaving work.
