We are delighted to invite you to join us for a fascinating talk, Cruising in Arctic Norway with Espen Bertelsen, and a 2 course meal.

Espen Bertelsen, CEO of Boreal Yachting (https://boreal-yachting.com/ ), is coming to the RSGYC on the evening of February 19th to present on cruising inside the Arctic Circle. Cruising in northern Norway runs year-round, with a changing focus depending on the season. From sailing under the Northern Lights, to free diving with whales, blending sailing with skiing and hiking, to the ultimate experience of cruising to Svalbard among grand glaciers, polar bears, and a sun that never sets. Espen will discuss the practical considerations of sailing in northern waters, the weather, typical conditions, pilotage and navigation, and lots more. This is an opportunity to listen to and question someone who will demystify what may been seen as an unreachable adventure and will add to the body of knowledge of our cruising community. Book Here:
