Youth Sailing World Championships 2025

 The Royal Cork Yacht Club are delighted to announce the selection of Matt Mapplebeck for the Youth Sailing World Championships in the 420 class.  Matt has teamed up with Cora McNaughton who achieved the International qualification criteria with former crew Sean Cronin. Following on from the success of Daniel Copithorne and Matt's performance during the year, Matt has taken a short break to team up with Cora for the Youth Sailing Worlds campaign. 

The Youth Sailing World Championships are the pinnacle of international youth sailing, bringing together the world's best under-19 sailors in all the International Youth classes. 

The event takes place in Vilamoura, Portugal from the 12th December until the 20th December. We wish Matt and the whole team the best of luck in their campaign over the next couple of months.
