B&G Named Official Electronics Partner for 2025 Admiral’s Cup and Rolex Fastnet Race
B&G, a longtime innovator in sailing electronics, has been named the official electronics and technical support partner for the 2025 Admiral’s Cup and Rolex Fastnet Race, both organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC). The announcement aligns the brand with two of the most prestigious offshore regattas on the global calendar—especially meaningful as this year’s Fastnet marks its 100th anniversary and is expected to draw its largest fleet yet.
As part of its support role, B&G will establish a dedicated Technical Support Hub at Cowes Yacht Haven. Staffed by Navico Group dealers and aftersales specialists, the hub will offer expert diagnostics, troubleshooting, and on-site repairs for competing yachts. In addition to hands-on service, B&G will award two £1,500 vouchers, redeemable through authorized B&G dealers, to standout participants during the event series.
The 2025 Admiral’s Cup begins July 17 with registration and measurement, followed by a Channel Race on July 19 and a series of inshore races through July 24. The series culminates with the Rolex Fastnet Race, which starts from the Royal Yacht Squadron Line in Cowes on Saturday, July 26, and runs 695 nautical miles to the finish in Cherbourg, France.
“We’re proud to support the Admiral’s Cup, a legendary event in the sailing world,” said Gemma Davies, director of marketing for EMEA at Navico Group. “Our team is excited to provide competitors with the same cutting-edge technology and expert support that B&G is known for.”
RORC race director Steve Cole echoed the sentiment: “Support of this type plays a pivotal role in elevating top‑class regattas—benefiting sailors, spectators, and organizers alike.”For more on the 2025 Admiral’s Cup and Rolex Fastnet Race, visit rorc.org.
