Rib Drivers needed – all welcome – Information evening 27th March
Do you have a powerboat certificate and want to put your skills to good use? Dublin Bay Sailing Club is looking for RIB drivers to assist with our summer 2025 sailing programme, offering a great opportunity to gain experience on the water and be part of an exciting sailing community.
We will be holding an information evening for interested individuals as below

What will you be doing?
We organise racing for hundreds of boats from April to September, and RIB drivers play a crucial role in laying racing marks and providing support to sailors on the water.
Who are we looking for?
This opportunity is open to all ages from young to old. Whether you are an instructor looking to build up your driving hours, or if you just want to spend some time out on the water of an evening or the weekend, you are welcome to join us!
???? Session Times:
- Tuesday evenings: 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- Wednesday evenings: 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
- Thursday evenings: 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm
- Saturday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
???? Payment:
- €30 per evening session
- €45 for Saturdays
No previous experience is required except for a powerboat license – we provide training in mark laying. Our RIBs are based at Dun Laoghaire Marina, with racing taking place in Dublin Bay and the harbour (on Wednesday nights).
