New Charter Destinations for 2025

0 3
New charter destinations – Bora Bora Dream Yacht Charter

The new holiday charter season ahead looks set to deliver some exciting packages says Sue Pelling, with companies taking a fresh look at itineraries, flotilla routes, and fleets.

The sailing holiday booking process for the 2025 season is well underway with many companies reporting a healthy start to the year. Dream Yacht Worldwide, for example, is keen to announce it has 90 new yachts for the new season spread throughout its vast portfolio of global destinations. In an effort to achieve its ambition of an all-electric yacht offering, and zero carbon emissions, this company also has another 20 new electric-powered catamarans added to its fleet.

Many companies are seeing an increased demand for by-the-cabin charter, not least because it offers those who are completely new to sailing the opportunity to enjoy a fun and relaxing holiday without the responsibility of ‘running’ the yacht.

Aimee Barnes – UK Marketing Lead commenting on Dream Yacht Charter’s new Cabin and Sail Share Cruise itineraries says: “The vision of Dream’s Cabin and Sail Share products is, and has always been, to allow the discovering of exclusive destinations by the sea, without the need to take care of the yacht and fully enjoying it, even without prior sailing experience. Our clients can book a private double cabin with ensuite in a big catamaran, and just enjoy the freedom of being taken to paradise waters, and being taken care of along the adventure by our professional local skippers and cooks.

“We have now expanded our offerings with new itineraries bringing even more exciting options to Thailand (Koh Samui Dream Premium), French Polynesia (Bora Bora Pearl Dream Premium), and Greece (Athens Dream Premium) on top of the choice of 15 world-class sailing routes available so far.”

Sail Ionian now has solar power and electric outboards on all its yachts

Nautilus Yachting’s Russell Steven (General Manager)says bookings are already flying in for 2025, with September 2025 being the most popular month so far. Also, with an increase in demand for flotilla holidays, and Mediterranean destinations in general, the company has introduced a new Dalmatian Flotillastarting from Sibenik (Croatia). Stevens was also keen to mention another new flotilla route Greece: “We are partnering with a new flotilla provider in Athens, which will take in the Saronic and Corinth Gulf. Greece is one of the most popular areas for charter, so this is an exciting addition to our range of flotillas for the 2025 season. This unique flotilla covers two fantastic sailing areas – the Saronic Gulf and the lesser-travelled Gulf of Corinth – and is perfect for intermediate sailors, groups and families.”

The Moorings, which offers charter in 20 destinations from the Caribbean and Thailand to Croatia and Greece, this year welcomes a 5-cabin 11-passenger catamaran to its fleet says Jasmine Lenthall (ADPR Senior Account Manager): “Customers can set sail across the Caribbean in style aboard the Moorings 4600, which is now available for bookings in the British Virgin Islands, St Martin, and St Lucia.”

Sail Ionian, a popular family-run yacht charter business on Lefkada Island, Greece, never fails to deliver on all aspects of its charter including its passion for sustainability with solar power and electric outboards on all its yachts. It is also upgrading its yachts to exclusive solar battery air conditioning units, and the system is now available on another six yachts for the 2025 season.

Tom Fletcher (marketing manager), commenting on other exciting company news says: “We have two new Bavaria C38s for the 2025 season set up for easy cruising with in-mast furling main sails.”

Also, building on the back of summer 2024 successes, Sail Ionian continues its unique offering a full seven days away from base each week. Yachts are ready for guests on a Sunday afternoon and are returned to base by 0900 the final Sunday meaning no wasted time at base. We also continue to offer popular, free unlimited 4G WiFi available across the fleet.

“Finally, we have early season offers on bareboat, flotilla or crewed charters with 10% off early bookings, and only £200 deposit to secure a charter. Greek Easter and UK Easter fall over the same weekend this year making a wonderful time to get away and enjoy the Ionian when it is quiet!”
