Sea Ray Debuts SDX 250 and SDX 270 Outboard Models at 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
Sea Ray will showcase the SDX 250 Outboard and SDX 270 Outboard models at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). These new boats combine capacity, comfort, and performance, ensuring a fun day on the water.
Keith Yunger, President of Sea Ray, expressed excitement about the new models. “These boats expand our SDX Serieswith outboard propulsion and showcase the latest in design and innovation.” At the show, Sea Ray will also celebrate its 65th anniversary with a full display of their 2025 lineup.
Enhanced Comfort and Storage
The SDX 250 Outboard and SDX 270 Outboard are perfect for boating activities, such as tubing or entertaining guests. Both models feature L-shaped bench seating, adjustable helm seats, and built-in cooler compartments for convenience. Additionally, Sea Ray has added multiple storage spaces, including a transom in-floor compartment for wet gear and a large starboard compartment. The starboard area can be upgraded to include a head.
With an oversized bow seating area, these models offer plenty of space to relax. The SDX 270 Outboard also features a bow ladder, and the Anchor Bundle adds a stainless-steel anchor and windlass for easy anchoring.
Powerful Performance and Technology
The SDX 250 Outboard comes with a Mercury® 250 Verado® V8 engine, while the SDX 270 Outboard has a Mercury 300 Verado V8 for enhanced power. Both models include Digital Dash technology, featuring a 9″ Simrad® NSX® touchscreen display, SmartCraft Connect, and Active Trim controls. For extra convenience, boaters can opt for inductive charging stations and a Fusion® audio system.
Sneak Peek: SDX 230 Outboard
In addition to the SDX 250 and SDX 270 Outboard, Sea Ray will provide a sneak peek of the SDX 230 Outboard. This brand-new model represents the next step in the SDX family and highlights Sea Ray’s commitment to innovation.
