September Mystery Harbor: Milford Harbor, Milford, Conn.
The photo of the Mystery Harbor in the September issue of Points East is Milford Harbor in Milford, Conn. Milford Harbor is the outfall for the Wepawaug River to the north, and is packed with slips for recreational boats. It opens to Long Island Sound near Charles Island. I recognized the Milford Yacht Club at the mouth, which I paddle by four times a week.

Bravo, Points East!
Well, it looks like we finally made it. My vote is for Milford Harbor in Milford, Conn. It’s been my home port for over 40 years. With Milford Yacht Club, Safe Harbor Port Milford, and Milford Boat Works on the left, dock moorings in the middle and the condominium docks with Spencer’s on the right, we have a very busy harbor. Overnights are a little like being at Disneyland. Bravo, Points East.
