A Glimpse of 2020

Dear Members

January 1st 2020 and a new decade before us, and also a new Club management team.
Today I take over as Commodore from Vyv Game, who did a sterling job for four years. He introduced many new features and instigated the Galley and Bar rejuvenation which provides pleasure and profit for the Club. He is now a Vice President, a well earned role.
Russ Gibbs and Graham Buxton-Smith also retire as does Simon Tytherleigh, but I am sure they will still be active in the future. Others, like myself, have changed operating functions.
To see who is now doing what at Starcross Yacht Club, go to the Who’s Who page, a new feature introduced by the web team who have also slimmed down the web page content and made it more easily readable on a smart phone.
