Disposal of old flares

For information (received from the coastguard): Time Expired Pyrotechnics: Leisure sailors who need to dispose of time expired pyrotechnics should phone Aberdeen MRCC on 01333 450666 for advice on their closest drop off point. From past experience this is limited dates at St Andrews, but phone to find out. Update: Since posting this item, I have become aware that Bosun's locker will dispose of old flares if you are buying new ones from them. However, they do charge £1.90 per flare for this. (Seems high, but cheaper than driving to St Andrews)
