Omega 14 Seat Flex and Cracking

I have an older Omega 14 that I have had for about a season now. When I put about 30 pounds of pressure on the tops of the seats they flex quite a bit, and in some spots, I can hear some cracking. Do y'all have any recommendations for how I can reinforce the seats to stop the flexing? I had an idea to cut some inspection ports and piece together/glass in some reinforcements on the underside of the seats but the more I think about it the worse it sounds lol.
