Is a sunfish hull airtight?

How could water get into the hull short of a broken hull or deck?
Or perhaps a damaged daggerboard trunk.
Never mind!
I should have spent more time researching the forum before asking this question. I now know how to do a leak test.
I'm a new sunfish owner.
