Can we talk about Laser Travellers for a minute?

So, I've been sailing my newly acquired laser for a while now. And it's a common issue that the sheet gets stuck in the back corner because of the weird traveller design…I know you can pull it tighter before wending, but it's still pretty annoying. Is there any benefits of this design?
