Eye strap on the end of the boom

Just noticed that the eye strap on the end of my boom has left its 'secure' position. There's about 2 mm of space between the rivets and the boom.
Will this rip out anytime soon?

Is replacing it with a new eyestrap + rivets the safe thing to do?
