Beware of scammer activities here….

Hello all. I just wanted to pass along a scam that has happened here so you can be warned.

I posted a classified ad looking for a centerboard for my boat. I had another listing for a mast cap. A fellow member messaged me that he knew a fellow member had parts. I emailed the guy and he came back saying he had a centerboard, but no cap he would sell for $155.
