Struggling to identify old laser sail number
Hi All,
For 20 odd years I've owner a laser which was definitely not new when it came to me.
I'm trying to work out how old it is and what sail number to apply to the sails.
The number under the bow fairlead is very worn - I think it might be 78640, but only the 7 and 8 are clear the rest are best guesses. This would perhaps make it 1980 approx.
The transom number doesn't confirm to what appears to be the standard format. It is only three digits - 588. It appears to be on a metal...
