HELP - HOW TO SAIL THE WORLD

Hello, seeking any and all advice here.

Me and my friend are going to buy a sailboat and leave land by January 2026.

We have no sailing experience, let alone ever owned a boat.

What do we need to know before we head out? We expect to be on the boat traveling at least 2-3 years.
