Old style rudder release vertical catch bar needed

Hello all. I focus on wooden Sunfish/Sailfish, but a gent reached out to me looking for an old style vertical ‘catch plate hinge part’ for an early fiberglass Sunfish. It’s not something that I have in my pile o’ parts box, but I figured someone here might have a lead on where he could find a suitable replacement.
And more importantly, I can’t believe that I can’t find the right name for that particular part.

Attached is a too short for him Wooden ‘fish part.
