Old laser mast step repair and full restoration

Hi all - I’ve been scouring youtube but not seeing anything comprehensive.

I have a unique very old Laser (3-digit hull number below bow eyelet) in the southeast that needs some help. It has nice teak siderails in the cockpit. Given folks tell me I can legally race it with the 3-digit sail number, it is a fun talking point and I’d like to fully restore it rather scrap it for parts and find a newer hull.
