What is the proper orientation of the gooseneck for the mast relative to the boom clamp?
How should the mast ring be oriented to work correctly? The gooseneck has an angle to it and the ring for the mast can be rotated relative to the ring for the boom. I would orient the boom clamp with the quick connect lever up and the quick connect nut down towards the deck in the photographs below.
