International ice sailing tournament makes debut in China
The International Ice Yacht Circuit made its debut in China on the frozen Bohai Sea, the port of Jinzhou, northeast China's Liaoning Province in January. A total of 53 top athletes around the world sailed on ice, at a top speed of over 150 kilometers per hour. Unlike the typical yacht sailing on water, ice sailing uses the blade that can glide forward quickly without generating too much friction.
