The Big 4 Merry-Go-Round

Even if the Wests Tigers secure Ivan Cleary as a long term coach the question must be asked, who out of the so-called big 4 will actually stay. The Wests Tigers board I believe have a lot to answer for considering they backed Taylor to the hilt mid last year.

I think two dangers exist for the Tigers. The rumour I've heard is that if anyone could be leaving it would be Tedesco. And it would be no surprise if it was to the Roosters. And speaking To Michael Gordon last week he confirmed that he is not playing on beyond this year.

The other one could be Mitchell Moses, considering the Bronco's will lose Hunt it will be no surprise if the Bronc's swoop and get a nearly like for like replacement, although Moses is slightly suspect in defence.

Personally if I was the Tigers I don't believe all 4 can be signed. And if they have any smarts at the Wests Tigers board the bloke they won't pursue is Luke Brooks. They may have to be prepared to let him go to make sure the other 3 stay.

Sadly this rubble resembles some of the bad management that we as a club suffered over the last few years. And sadly, I think as a club they will have to pay overs to keep all four and that then places strain on retention and purchasing of other players.

Things are going to heat up because at the same time the bulldog's will need to make future steps around Lichaa, Reynolds and Hopoate and that will obviously then factor any movement around Foran as well.

It will be an interesting few weeks, I'm keen to see how it plays out. I don't think any players being discussed here should be on Parra's radar. We should be aiming in other areas of concern.
