U12 Girls

Our Under 12’s got off to a great start to their Blitz season with a dazzling display of rucking, passing and support play at their Blitz hosted by St Marys.  Their first competitive outing of the season saw them come up against Seapoint, St Marys and BlackHall (Blackrock and Barnhall).  The girls have been working on the simple and effective match play skills, in tackling, rucking over, presenting the ball and supporting the ball carrier and it was great to see those skills in a competitive environment.  Huge thank you to AIB Merchant Services for their continual support this season. The girls love their new kit.  Looking forward to the coming weeks where we welcome Emily McKeown (Leinster Ladies DO) to training as well as welcoming Seapoint to a joint training session as well and our own Friday night lights Blitz at Donnybrook on the 24th of October.  Lots to look forward to.  If you have any questions about joining or about our girls in general, please contact Chris on girlsrugby@oldwesley.ie.
