2025/26 Premiership Fixtures Announced
The 2025/26 Welsh Premiership fixtures have been announced and Pontypridd RFC will kick off their campaign away against fellow Mid District club Brecon RFC on Saturday 6th September. Ponty’s first match at Sardis Road will then take place on Saturday 13th September against Narberth RFC.
The rest of September will see the Valley Commandos travel to Llangennech on the 20th, and will finish with a derby at home against Beddau on the 27th.
Some of our many other notable dates are when we once again welcome Ystrad Rhonnda to Sardis Road for a festive derby on Saturday 20th December, before playing our first game of 2026 at home against Brecon on Saturday 3rd January.
Matches against Valley rivals Merthyr take place at The Wern on 13/12/2025 and at Sardis on 11/4/2026. The rivalry between the two most successful clubs in Welsh Premiership history continues on Saturday 1st November 2025 when we head to the Gnoll to play Neath. The Welsh All Blacks are the visitors to Sardis Road on Saturday 7th March 2026 and Ponty conclude their season away at Ystrad Rhondda on Saturday 18th April 2026.
Due to there being an ‘odd’ number of 13 teams in the league again this season, Ponty’s ‘bye weeks’ are Saturday 15th November 2025 and Saturday 28th March 2026.
Please note that both fixtures and kick-off times may be subject to change throughout the season, and the draw for the first round of the Welsh Cup will be announced in July.
