Linlithgow wins community club of year at Murrayfield Stadium’s big birthday bash! ✨️ 

Community Recognition Award Winners!

We are very proud to announce that Linlithgow Rugby Club was named Community Club of the Season (Edinburgh, Mid-Lothian and West Lothian) at the SRU Community Recognition Awards at Scottish Gas Murrayfield last Friday at the venue’s 100th birthday party. Just think – 100 years ago (21 March 1925) Scotland beat England to win their first ever Grand Slam and 100 years to the day, our Club received Community Club of the Year. Great book-ends!

The club is delighted to receive the award, which has only been possible through the amazing work of all our volunteers across the age groups. 

Our very own Ken Richardson was also presented with the Volunteer of the Season in Schools Rugby (Edinburgh, Mid-Lothian and West Lothian) for his work with Linlithgow Academy.

Congratulations to all the award winners. Hearing your stories was truly inspirational, and we were proud to be there to celebrate with you today on Murrayfield’s 100th anniversary.
