When you pick the bones out the rotting carcass that Smith preceded over that would seem very plausible especially given Gaz’ professionalism and genuine love for this club. It seems very much a case of Smith removing anyone that questioned or posed a threat to him within the club, much like some from the dark side had said would be the case.
Cartwright & Myler have a massive job on their hands but think Lasty with Ellis will be invaluable assets. As for Grix for me he can go as he is too Smith orientated and not sure he is the right fit.
