truck driving is a very expensive trade to get into now vasty. Your looking at 3 to 4 grand to get through to your class 1 add onto this a medical every few years depending on age and continuous cpc training and digital tachograph cards. We constantly get abuse from the public and you can be pulled in for everything by the authorities/ police at anytime and the fines are brutal, which under the circumstances of us being in control of a killing machine maybe is correct. It's extremely hard to get anywhere to park at times to keep secure and our transport network for a small island needs a complete overall. If I had my time again I'd of done what my parents said and got my head down at school.
