‘Give the Gift of Sport’ to Extern

In support of our charity partner, Extern, Ulster Rugby is encouraging shoppers at the Kingspan Stadium store to think of others when using the NI Highstreet Voucher.

By making a purchase for Extern with your ‘Spend Local’ voucher, you could make a real difference to young people across the province supported by the charity’s work.

From t-shirts and rugby balls to hats and scarves, any donation can help ‘Give the Gift of Sport’ to a child supported by Ulster Rugby’s charity partner.

Donations will be used throughout Ulster by young people benefitting from Extern’s Safe Haven programme that offers a lifeline to children, and their families, who are experiencing a difficult time in their lives.

Roy Smyth, Manager of Extern’s Kinnahalla youth village in County Down, which is one of the charity’s Safe Havens, said:

“Sport plays such a big part in helping us to connect with the young people we support every day through our Safe Havens. It can break down barriers and give young people the confidence to interact with others and express themselves in a positive way.

“By giving the Gift of Sport, and generously donating through the Spend Local scheme to our Safe Havens, you can ensure that the young people we support will have the opportunity to experience the power of sport to transform lives.”

Shoppers making a purchase using the NI Highstreet Voucher can enjoy 10% off any purchase up to the value of £200 – with supporters spending over £50 being entered into a prize draw for the chance to win four hospitality tickets to Ulster v Connacht at Kingspan Stadium on Sunday 26 December (KO 5 15pm), and a home jersey signed by the Senior Men’s team.
