EORU Junior Rep Winter Indoor Training
| We have been working on our winter program for months now and are happy to announce details. EORU Jr Rep remains committed to running a safe and dynamic training program sanctioned by Rugby Ontario. Our program works within the guidelines and restrictions as laid out by public health authorities. That means we must impose limits on the number of staff and athletes we can have indoors at any one time. We have booked our winter training for Saturdays, 7-9pm, at Ben Franklin Dome. We will run from November 21st through to the end of March, with a break at Christmas. Indoor programming has always carried higher expenses than outdoor programming. With limitations on the number of participants allowed indoors, it will mean the cost is higher than last year’s programme. Currently, indoor fees are estimated at $450-$500 per player. The amount will be confirmed as soon as possible. That covers the rental of the facility only. There is no additional sprint training or S&C training off-site included. Kit will be for sale in the coming weeks. Registration is now open for Ottawa players. Read through to the end of the newsletter for more information. For November, we will run indoor training on alternating weekends for boys and girls. This may change as restrictions change or open up. We will communicate whether we will continue to alternate in December at a later date. On November 21st, U18 boys (born 2002, 2003, 2004) will train indoors at the Ben Franklin Dome, 7-9pm Also on November 21st. U18 girls (born 2002, 2003, 2004), U16 girls (b 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008) and U16 boys (b 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008) will train at TERP from 10am-12noon. There is no additional fee for this session. |
| STAFF ON DOUBLE DUTY If you are already registered, you are welcome to attend the TERP session – as long as you are registered with the U18/U16 girls’ program or the U16 boys’ program. Please do not show up otherwise as we are sanctioned for these athletes and staff members and cannot accommodate another group. FEES Fees for the season are estimated to be between $450-$500 per player. The fee can be paid in two installments: $200 due November 28, 2020 $ the balance due January 9, 2021.
