I would take the comment from Salford fans about Lui a good defender with a pinch of salt. We have seen plenty of matches with him, and I would say he is a very long way from being a good defender. Infact I would not be surprised in the slightest if his stats were not much different to someone like Myler from a defensive point of view. Of course in the large half backs are your weakest link in the defensive line, and hence why they are pushed out wide, and why the oppossition run at them often to tire them out.

I am not saying that makes the signing any less or more worthwhile, but I doubt you will see a good defender in that shirt from Lui.
