Hull KR • Re: Floodlight and ground closure?

As far as I'm aware, the floodlights are owned by Hull City Council and are rented by Hull KR so who called for the total evacuation I don't know but one would imagine HCC will be taking things up with the contractors. I was also told that the floodlight that came down contained Mercury and that this spread over the in-goal area. apparently, Mercury is dangerous stuff for health, how exactly, if this is true, the Mercury is being located, I don't know.

Mercury? I very much hope not it can be highly toxic and hazardous to health not to mention difficult to decontaminate. Would think this is exaggeration if community activities resume at CP next week.
