If you can cite examples of Leeds players putting a players safety at risk and Brian McD defending it, go for it. Its not his job to start pointing out issues across the league. He's a Leeds employee, so of course he's going to comment on issues that he thinks are affecting Leeds - that doesn't mean that they don't affect the wider sport.
Another area he has been vocal on is this culture of 'milking' penalties, and he freely admits that Leeds players have been as bad as others in that regard.
You can accuse BMcD of lots of things, but you can't say that he is neither honest nor pragmatic.
