Well Pop Pickers, it looks like Hornets are not going to participate this season until March at the earliest. The same adaptation to the rules that was posted last week would have been applied (Bongser will suitably edit the rules/scoring scheme at the top of this thread) though it again would not have mattered as noooobody saw the Barrow v Teronno result coming, did they?!
Welcome Mr Diggle (Heritage # eight). Sadly JACK scored exactly that.
Bongser will not abide this and, in the Olympian spirit of de Coubertin (it is not the taking of performance enhancing drugs that counts, but the taking part) will award one point for each entrant each week (this will also be retrospectively applied, and the header criteria further edited).
So to the remaining four matches. All the other entrants this week selected the correct victor (8 points apiece) though nobody predicted a bang on winning margin. Regarding the whacky (wacky?) bonus question, here are Leigh's scorers (with squad numbers appended) in alphabetical order:

10+3+2+11+18+6=50
Both Atomic & Zulu were within five and so gain a further 2 points. Only one poster, embarrassingly, got the shirt total bob on and (to paraphrase Jafar in Disney's "Aladdin") "Hmm. Interesting! That would be Bongser." So he gets a 5 point bonus.
So, in the words of Everard's friend, Larry, "Let's look at the scores on the doors" (with retrospective attendance bonus already applied). Reverse order this week for dramatic effect:
8th - Jack Diggle - 1pt (still in the Qualifiers - yed deauwn, keep gooin'!)
7th - Cokey - 7pts (where did ya go, Joe Dimaggio)
5th (Joint) - Vancouver Leyther & westleighjim - 9pts
4th - Atomic - 17 (hit the post Mick Burke style)
3rd - Zulu01 - 19pts (hit the other post, ffs)
2nd - Chuckle Caroli - 45pts (one week at Nº1 (so far))
