In view of Greg Birds reduced suspension, on appeal, there can be no other explanation as to why Jaime Acton has received the outrageous punishment which, was increased, on his appeal!
I've watched Willie Isa, Ryan Atkins and Greg Bird commit some appalling fouls this week and, Gareth Ellis only received one match for a 'Crusher Tackle'
Just what is it that Jamie gets such unacceptable bans for ? is it Crusher Tackles? is it Spear Tackles? is it use of the Elbow? is it Cannonball? is it pushing the Ref? Some of our own fans have said he deserves it
I did see him push a Salford player in the back (on Video after the game) and he got four matches for that in, last years qualifiers!
I saw Willie Isa do the same last week, only worse, against Saints and he got nothing only a Sin binning Ryan Atkins too did the same on Kieron Dixon!
The incident with Bird and Jamie was dramatically overplayed, particularly by the Media ! Anyone who thinks Bird was lying concussed is naïve to say the least!
Birds a thug and his late hit on Ben Reynolds proved it, his horrendous Spear Tackle on Fax's Ben Heaton was far worse than what Jaime did
If we do manage to get the MPG we could yet again face this thug
