Plenty of snow in Scotland

0 10

Huw and I are back up in Scotland this week with a winter climbing/mountaineering course and a winter skills week running. I have been out with Frank, Jon, Martin and Oliver for the winter skills course and we headed up Stob Mhic Mhartuin in Glencoe. There is a lot of snow all the way down to the road and this little summit worked well for us, keeping us out of the avalanche risk by staying below 750m and giving plenty of aspects to play on safely. We also got some stunning views as it is a wonderful vantage point across to Buicailles Etive Beag and Mor, as well as down the length of the Coe. Its great to be back in the Highlands!
