The wind was back up today so we headed away from the worst of it a little and over to An Teallach. Hayfork Gully provided us with a truly great route from the flat floor of Coire Thuill to An Teallach's highest point, the summit of Bidein a' Ghlas Thuill.
We whiled away yesterday with a wind blown but pleasant stroll along the wild Wester Ross coastline. Today was back to mountaineering and what a stella day it was. Enjoying the still air and sunshine...

There's not been a lot of winter for the start of our Torridon Winter Mountaineering Week but we've been out enjoying ourselves none the less. The plan which we'd hatched was to seek out some old snow that we'd hoped might still be laying in the deeper gullies.
