Regular readers of this blog might remember Series 1 of The Mountain about 5 years ago on ITV Wales. The series was in six parts and featured 4 different peoples lives on Snowdon over a twelve month period.
Last week saw a high pressure system settle over North Wales and so we had some lovely sunny days with very little wind - an Indian Summer! I made the most of the week, grabbing some pre-dawn starts and some sunsets with my camera.
I was back on the Aonach Eagach today, but in a different capacity to Friday, as I was acting as safety cover on a section of the ridge to ensure that the competitors were staying on course and keeping them safe.
Since it’s almost the end of the Kalbarri season, we’re going to get the place spic and span! This is not a special trip, but for those already in the area. Join us at 12 pm at the climber’s campsite.
