British Judo Partners with e-Coach
British Judo have partnered with e-Learning Platform – eCoach — in a major step forward in supporting clubs, coaches and volunteers across the sport.
The platform brings everything needed to raise standards, strengthen club culture and promote wellbeing together in one accessible online hub.
At the heart of the platform lies Club Checker, a simple and practical tool designed to help clubs quickly understand where they stand on key areas of good practice. In just ten minutes, clubs can complete an online check and receive instant, actionable feedback.
The tool is built around four key pillars — Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding, Mental Health & Wellbeing, and Safety — providing a comprehensive overview of a club’s strengths and opportunities for growth. Once the check is complete, each club receives a personalised action plan with recommendations, practical resources, and a tailored learning pathway to guide them forward.
This tailored learning approach ensures that everyone involved in the sport — from committee members to coaches and volunteers — has access to role-specific training and development opportunities. The platform is also designed to empower volunteers, making it easier to manage compliance, inclusion and wellbeing in day-to-day club operations.
Alongside Club Checker, individual learners can explore a broad catalogue of online courses, covering everything from safeguarding and equality to personal and professional development. To celebrate the launch, all courses are available at 50% off during the first month — making it easier than ever to get started.
The platform’s launch marks an exciting collaboration between British Judo and eCoach, the UK’s leading sports learning provider. It represents British Judo’s ongoing commitment to innovation, learning and inclusion, ensuring that clubs have the tools and support they need to deliver safe, welcoming and high-quality environments.
Simon Richards, Director of eCoach, said:
“We’re delighted to be partnering with British Judo to give clubs, coaches and volunteers access to cutting-edge technology that helps them strengthen their culture, raise standards and support everyone involved in the sport. This collaboration shows how digital learning can make a real difference at every level of the sport.”
With the British Judo Learning Platform, powered by eCoach, the pathway to continuous improvement has never been simpler, smarter, or more accessible — ensuring that the entire judo community can thrive together.
