Himanshi Tokas becomes first Indian judoka to top junior world rankings

Himanshi Tokas, defying initial setbacks and her mother's concerns after an eye injury, has made history by achieving the World No. 1 ranking in junior women's judo. Supported by her grandmother, she persevered, later training under coach Yashpal Solanki. This achievement marks a significant milestone for Indian judo, with another judoka, Shahin Darjada, also ranked among the world's top five.
