Shinji Hosokawa 8th Dan Announced for 2025 National Technical Conference
British Judo’s National Technical Conference returns this autumn—and we’re thrilled to welcome Olympic legend Shinji Hosokawa 8th Dan (JPN) as our headline clinician.
Hosokawa is a two-time Olympic medalist having captured gold at the 1984 Los Angeles Games whilst a Bronze medal followed in Seoul in 1988 with a world title sandwiched in between in 1985, before embarking on a coaching career that has produced stars such as triple-Olympic champion Tadahiro Nomura. This is a rare chance to learn directly from one of judo’s most respected technical minds at this year’s National Technical Conference.
The conference is aimed at all BJA-licensed coaches graded 1st Kyu and above, with on- and off-the-mat sessions led by Hosokawa and the BJA National Coaching Team (full line-up to be confirmed).
