Make an Impact: Join British Judo’s Diversity & Inclusion Working Group
The British Judo Association (BJA) are seeking new members for its Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Advisory Group.
Facilitated and chaired by Rowan Kinsella, British Judo are looking for new members to join its Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Advisory Group.
We are particularly interested in individuals who can represent the lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals with invisible disabilities, neurodivergent communities, and those with a strong understanding of intersectionality. Our aim is to enhance our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring that British Judo is as welcoming as possible.
The group consists of external volunteers who provide guidance on developing frameworks for D&I initiatives. These initiatives contribute to the British Judo Association’s D&I Steering Group, helping to integrate inclusion within British Judo, while also acting as critical friends to hold us accountable.
If you believe you can make a meaningful impact on the British Judo community, we invite you to apply. Please provide some information about yourself, the impact you would like to make in the D&I community, and what you can contribute to the group.
If you feel you can make a real difference to the British Judo community, please apply by providing a little bit of information about yourself, what impact you would like to make and what you can bring to the group.
Please send your application to andrew.bowly@britishjudo.org.uk by Friday 11th July 2025.
