Europe’s Rising Judo Stars Set For the West Midlands
Get ready as the next generation of judo champions take centre stage!
British Judo is thrilled to welcome back one of the premier events on the international junior calendar — the Junior European Cup 2025 — taking place at the Walsall Sports Centre, University of Wolverhampton from 26–27 July 2025.
This action-packed weekend will see the very best under-21 judoka from across Europe once again compete for continental glory, with Olympic dreams in their sights.
The Junior European Cup isn’t just another tournament — it’s a proving ground for the next generation of elite judo athletes with an incredible opportunity to represent their country on home-soil. Many of today’s Olympic and World Championship medallists first made their mark on this very stage.
From breathtaking throws to edge-of-your-seat groundwork, expect high-level action, fierce competition, and an electric atmosphere as young stars battle for the podium in front of a passionate British crowd.
Entries are now open for judoka and coaches to register for this European Judo Union (EJU) event. As this is an international competition, the registration process is different to domestic events.
