British Judokas Set for Action at Dubrovnik, Poznan, Teplice & Panama Competitions

British judokas are set to compete in a series of international events this weekend, including the Dubrovnik Senior European Cup, Poznan Junior European Cup, Teplice Millennium Cadet European Cup, and the Panama Junior and Cadet Panamerican Cups.

Dubrovnik Senior European Cup 2025

The Dubrovnik Senior European Cup will see 23 British judokas competing in Croatia.

In the -60kg category, Benjamin Caldwell (Camberley JC) and Ross Dempsey (Clyde JC) will take to the mat. The -66kg division features a strong British contingent, with Michael Fryer (Rush Judo), Charlie Young (Ryecroft Judo), Lewis Fryer (Rush Judo), Finlay Allan (Camberley JC), Peter Miles (Bradley Stoke JC), Cameron Foster (Alness JC), and James Gray (Destination Judo) all set to compete.

Ethan Nairne (Bradley Stoke JC) and Harry Le Mare (Judo Club Osaka) will represent Britain in the -73kg category, while Rory Tyrrell (Camberley JC) and Logan Campbell (Camberley JC) will take on the -81kg division.

In the -90kg category, Jamal Petgrave (Westcroft JC) and Cameron Reid-Thomas (Sportif) will step onto the tatami, with Oliver Barratt (Dragons Academy) and Max Gregory (Drake JC) competing in the -100kg field. Wesley Greenidge (Enfield JC) is the sole British entrant in the +100kg category.

Summer Shaw (Camberley JC) will compete in her usual -48kg category alongside Ashleigh Barnikel (Neyland JC). Lanina Solley (Camberley JC) is set to fight in the -57kg division, Katie Mills (Camberley JC) in the -63kg, and Kelly Petersen-Pollard (Hardy Spicer 83) in the -70kg.

Poznan Junior European Cup 2025

24 British athletes are set to compete in Poland this weekend at the Poznan Junior European Cup.

Charlie Ayre (Tees Valley Judo) is Britain’s sole entrant in the -60kg category, while Rastin Fallahdar (Budokwai) stands as the lone representative in the -66kg division.

The -73kg field features a strong British presence, with Irakli Goginashvili (Palavani), Benjamin Levy (Budokwai), Ross McWatt (Garioch Judo), Eden Heffernan (Pro Judo), Peter Davies (Ealing JC), Jack Macleod (Garioch Judo), and Oliver Ridout (Stroud JC) all set to compete.

Another solid group will take on the -81kg division, with Eryk Neumann (Hardy Spicer 83), Luke Davies (Ealing JC), Jamie Death (Bredakwai JA), and Antony Moylett (Grimsby JC) in action. Cameron Hickey (Camberley JC) and Joseph Kirk (Middlesbrough Judo) will compete in the -90kg category.

Nicola Bulga (Ealing JC) will represent Britain in the -48kg field, while Lola Hodson (Dragons Academy) and Maddy Kissenisky (East Yorkshire JA) will fight in the -52kg division.

A strong trio of Madeleine Birri (Ealing JC), Chloe Link (Relentless Judo), and Charlotte Jenman (Tonbridge JC) will compete in the -57kg category.

Olivia Delahunty (Newbury JC) is set to take on the -63kg division, while Anya Hassan (Middlesbrough Judo) and Nicole Wood (Bishops Stortford) will compete in the -78kg category.

Teplice Millennium Team Cadet European Cup 2025

A small squad of four will represent GB in Teplice for the Millennium Cadet European Cup.

Luke Hunter (Jidel Judo 93) will compete in the -50kg category, while Luka Gigilashvili (Palavani) takes on the -73kg division.

Taylor Chrisp (Blyth Juno Michi) is set to fight in the -48kg category, with Zaffira Edwards (Whitburn JC) competing in the -63kg division.

Panama Junior Panamerican Cup and Panama Cadet Panamerican Cup 2025

Three British judokas will compete in Panama, with all three taking part in the Panama Junior Pan American Cup, while two will also compete in the Panama Cadet Panamerican Cup.

Aleksandra Dudko (Ealing JC) will fight in the -57kg category in both tournaments, while Robyn Davies (Ealing JC) will compete in the -63kg division of both events. Ellis Davies (Ealing JC) will take on the -81kg category in the Junior event only.
