Calling all Alberta based women in coaching & officiating and those who support them as administrators. We would like to hear from you!

0 2

InMotion Network has started a three-year project looking to increase the number of diverse women in coaching and officiating positions at all levels of Alberta’s sporting system. In addition we are looking to grow the network of sporting professionals interested in disrupting some of the gendered, racialized, classed, and (dis)abled norms that our sporting systems have inherited. The first opportunity in this project is to gather information from the community through a survey.

The survey is looking for perspectives from:

  • Alberta-based women who have coached and/or officiated.
  • Alberta-based women who have wanted to coach and/or officiate but have been unable to because of structural barriers.
  • Alberta-based sport administrators who support women in coaching and/or officiating roles in their organization.
  • The link to the survey can be found HERE. The survey will close on October 31, 2024.

It should take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete. Everyone who completes the survey has the option to enter to win one of five $100 gift cards.

We look forward to learning from your experiences and insights.
