2022/23 Judo Alberta Membership Fees

For the season starting on September 1, 2022 and ending on August 31, 2023, the following membership structure and fees will apply. “Membership” is the age of the member on December 31, 2023. The 2022-2023 season fee schedule starts July 1, 2022.

INTRODUCTION TO JUDO*
- Official letter from the organization where the program is taking place submitted annually to Judo Canada by Judo Alberta.
- Once in a lifetime opportunity
- Maximum program length is 15 weeks
- No grading; No voting power (AGM); No competitions or similar activities (ie. organized randori)
- To upgrade to regular membership, full fees are owed.
SCHOOL PROGRAM**
- Official letter from the school where program is taking place submitted annually to Judo Canada by Judo Alberta including a detailed schedule
- Must take place during school hours only
- Must be conducted under the supervision of school personnel
- No voting power (AGM); No competition or similar activities (ie. organized randori)
- Maximum grading to orange belt with registration of promotion to Judo Alberta
- To upgrade to regular membership, full fees are owed.
AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM**
- Official letter from the organization where program is taking place submitted annually to Judo Canada by Judo Alberta including a detailed schedule
- School Program must be under the supervision of a school staff member
- After School Program must be under the supervision of an adult staff member
- No voting power (AGM); No competition or similar activities (ie. organized randori)
- Maximum grading: Primary School -no restriction; Secondary School-maximum green belt. All promotions are required to be registered with Judo Alberta
- To upgrade to regular membership, full fees are owed.
SELF DEFENCE***
- Official letter from the Club submitted to Judo Canada by Judo Alberta.
- Must be instructed by a Judo Canada Self-Defence Certified Instructor
- No grading; No voting power (AGM); No competitions or similar activities (ie. organized randori)
- Unlimited duration
- To upgrade to regular membership, full fees are owed.
