Why Not Become a Judo Referee/Technical Official This Year?
British Judo are pleased to offer a range of online training opportunities for members who are interested in beginning their Referee and/or Technical Official pathway journey.
The modules will cover the basic structure of refereeing, penalty situations, signals, referee pathway as well as the competition framework, while the Technical Officials will focus on the basics of a judo contest and the role the timekeeper and scorer plays during competition judo.
Whether you are currently training, coaching or generally interested in the refereeing side of our sport, the modules are suitable for anyone who has not previously had any referee or official competition experience but meet or exceed the entry criteria set out in the Referee Handbook.
There is a coach revalidation on offer for all members who complete a Referee course that progresses them to the next stage of the Referee Pathway.
